Making of Bappa

Mumbai city celebrates so many festivals, that too with full 'josh'. But if there is one I had to pick personally or ask anyone to, I am sure the unanimous choice would echo "Ganpati Bappa Maurya".

Born and brought up in Mumbai, yet this was my first time going behind the scenes to see how the prep for this festival is done. I feel blessed that photography makes me push boundaries, taking me to places I've never been before, and experience them up close and personal.

The craftsmanship I witnessed at the workshops tickled every sense of my artist mind, and I soaked in all that detailing and creativity as inspiration.

To think that these artists create from scratch, something so magnanimous & soulful, that thousands hoard to, to bow down, worship and love. Now that is art!
